She became involved with the art of photography while originally pursing a degree in Journalism. Quickly she jumped ship and in 2008 she graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Photography. Since graduating she has been building her portfolio and working as a freelance photographer. </div><p style="font-style: italic;" class="MsoNormal"><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]--><o:p></o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">Melissa has created a unique and personal photographic style, developing an eye for capturing the everyday details that surround her. She uses digital and film mediums, both in color and black &amp; white. She has traveled and photographed across the United States and worldwide.
